When our mental health takes a dip or things feel like they are getting out of control it is important that we draw support from where we can to help us feel better and regain control. Peer Support can have an important role in supporting us through these difficult times.
Whether we are able to cope or not is not always in our control and sometimes we need a helping hand to recover from a period where we have found it difficult to cope. Whether its stress, sadness, depression or anxiety, talking with other people who understand how it feels to struggle to cope can help us find a path back to a better balance.
These sessions link people together with lived experience to find support and understanding and to share what works. These are informal sessions and they are designed to support people either experiencing a difficult time, preparing just in case or coming out of a difficult time.
