Our Journey
We are Centred, an innovative charity in the Scottish Highlands providing help and support for people with mental ill-health by providing a personalised approach to recovery.
We support people face-to-face in our free drop-in colleges, in rural communities and in our residential recovery centre.
Our pioneering drop-in college and recovery centre in Inverness were the first of their kind in the Scottish Highlands.
We now support thousands of people with mental ill-health in Inverness and isolated areas throughout the Highlands. Scroll down to see the services we offer and how we can help.
What We Do

Drop in Support
Drop in for free without a referral to one of our Discovery Colleges and talk with one of our support team if you’re suffering from mental ill-health, substance abuse or addiction.
Every member of our support team has lived experience to help you on a 1-2-1 basis towards mental wellbeing.

Community Support
We support over a thousand people every week in the community and in their own homes providing a friendly face and practical help.
From Lochaber and Inverness, our services now also reach more remote and isolated areas throughout Easter Ross and Caithness.

Residential Recovery
Our 24/7 residential recovery centre is the first of its kind in Scotland and provides bedsits and flats for 23 people with mental ill-health to help lead independent lives. With a relaxed communal kitchen, lounge, games rooms, sun-room and wraparound garden it’s everything but institutionalised.

Private Mental Health
We understand that everyone’s needs are different. That’s why we also offer private mental health and care support. Centred Plus is care tailored to each individuals needs, whether it’s dementia, mental health or autism.
