Centred is a progressive charitable company based in the Highlands that supports people through mental ill health toward mental well-being. Our services are based in Caithness, Easter Ross, Inverness, and Lochaber. Our Centred Recovery Centre, based in Inverness, is a centre that provides support and accommodation for up to 23 service users.
We are recruiting for a Relief Social Care Worker to join our Lochaber team in Fort William.
JOB SUMMARY
Relief Social Care Worker – £26,227.50 – £26,422.50 per annum

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Relief Social Care Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide high‑quality support to individuals, helping them live safely, independently, and with dignity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a relief social care worker, you will:
- Provide person‑centred support to individuals in their daily activities
- Promote independence, choice, and wellbeing
- Maintain accurate and professional care records
- Communicate effectively with service users, families, and external agencies
- Work flexibly as part of a committed team
- Work with support plans, risk assessments, and policies
- Assist with medication administration

- Reliability and commitment
- Previous experience in care or support is beneficial but not essential as full training provided
- A full UK driving licence is essential
