We are a values-driven organisation dedicated to improving mental health outcomes and helping individuals and communities across the Highlands. We are the largest locally-based mental health organisation, providing services across the region.

Rated by The Care Inspectorate as providing very good care to our service users, we combine compassionate support with a strong commitment to sustainability, innovation and measurable impact.

We are seeking an exceptional Chief Executive Officer to lead our organisation into its next phase of growth and impact. This is a pivotal role requiring a strategic leader who combines strong financial acumen with deep understanding of the third sector, particularly within commissioned health and social care services, and dedication to helping people.

  • Provide clear strategic leadership, ensuring delivery of our mission and long-term sustainability
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting and performance, ensuring robust governance and accountability
  • Work closely with the Board of Trustees to shape organisational strategy and ensure regulatory compliance, as well as developing mental health provision.
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of inclusion, innovation and impact
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including funders, commissioners, partners and service users
  • Identify and secure funding opportunities to ensure financial resilience and growth

We are looking for a dynamic and purpose-driven leader who can bring strong financial expertise, including experience of managing budgets, financial strategy and organisational risk. You’ll have extensive knowledge of the third sector, with a particular understanding of mental health services and challenges and proven experience in a senior leadership role, ideally within a charity, social enterprise, or public sector organisation. A track record of delivering sustainable growth, income diversification and organisational impact is important along with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills and a deep commitment to improving mental health and wellbeing.

You’ll have the opportunity to lead a respected organisation making a real difference in people’s lives with a chance to shape the future of mental health provision in the community.
