About Mark

Since I started working for Centred in 2013, I have supported people through many different issues, including those living with Schizophrenia. Over time I have witnessed them thrive and develop into  independent people. ​

We had someone enduring severe psychosis. Initially there was  a feeling of helplessness from staff,  whether we could help them to get better at all. With our support this person ended up working, living in their own flat, having a relationship and taking driving lessons. What many people take for granted, for this person was a monumental achievement. They have been an inspiration for others on what is possible, no matter how difficult things might seem in people’s lives.
