Would you like to try out some new craft activities? The Discovery College has a great crafting space and we have been playing recently with some macrame, and some ceramic painting and winter wreaths.
As we move into the New year why not come along and join us. We have plenty of ideas for new and familiar crafts which we will be doing on Wednesdays througout the rest of the winter.
We know from experience that crafting helps with stress relief, boosts our mood and encourages mindfulness. Lots of people enjoy crafts and this session offers an opportunity to get together and conenct with others who have an interest in creativity and crafting.
Crafting Connections is led by one of our Peer Support Workers and is fun and informal. Those taking part will have the opportunity to suggest activities that they would like to explore. Materials will generally be provided and people will be able to take home their work if they would like.
These sessions take place every week but the last Wednesday of every month is a drop in session where crafts will be available all day and there is no need to book.
Coffee and biscuits are provided too.
Come along and join us – we would love to see you.
